Finding your voice, amidst love.

Photo by Maxim Erokhin on Unsplash :)

Easy it is to find your voice,

your Aoede,

that guides you amidst the realm of mortals.

Blessed you shall be though,

when you find someone

with whom you can remain in silence and noise

comfortable as you were on your own.

However, cursed you may be

when the silence starts to resound within you

and the noise degrade to an abstract construct,

fading meaninglessly in the winds

that Aeolus tried to contain.

Only in vain and agony,

does the West wind carry the meanings of our words

to those brave enough to interpret them.

To sheer destiny,

does that wind carry our silences

across the field of time and space.

And when the sun sets

I dread, and I smile.

For I know.

The greatest Aoedes

cower and dismay over their love.
